  What Sugar Does

Sugar suppresses the immune system, upsets the minerals in the body, causes hyperactivity, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, produces a significant rise in triglycerides, causes reduction in defense against bacterial infection, kidney damage, reduces high density lipoproteins (good HDLs), leads to chromium deficiency (implicated in diabetes), leads to cancer of the breast, ovaries, intestines, prostate and rectum...causes copper deficiency, interferes with absorption of calcium and magnesium, weakens eyesight, raises level of neurotransmitters called serotonin, causes hypoglycemia, produces an acidic stomach, causes aging, arthritis, asthma, candida, gallstones, appendicitis, heart disease, MS, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, and periodontal disease...increases cholesterol, migraine headaches, interferes with absorption of protein, causes toxemia during pregnancy, impairs the structure of DNA, causes cataracts, emphysema, atherosclerosis, can cause free radicals in the blood stream, hunger pains and overeating..

White Flour, Sugar and Salt

The devastating effects of these "white" foods is causing catastrophic medical costs.


White flour has had all the good substances (bran and germ) removed during processing.  It's bleached, with a bleaching agent similar to clorox. Has added coal-tar-derived (carcinogenic) vitamins but is sold as "enriched".  Clogs up intestines, creates excess mucus in sinus passages and depletes nutrient levels as your body works to digest it. 



Sugar has a negative impact on our bodies.  Just watch the after affect on children after they eat birthday cake.  They will be running around like little maniacs, jumping on furniture, unable to control their physical bodies.  

As the sugar level climbs in the body, the insulin level has to soar to counteract the increase of sugar.  This puts a strain on the pancreas. 

The immune system is negatively affected.  One candy bar contains sugar equivalent to 3 pounds of apples.  The average American consumes 1/3 pound per day, 25% of that from colas (up to 11 tsps).  12 tsps of sugar impairs the immune system 60%.  

In the natural form, glucose, it is an essential nutrient.  The central nervous system needs glucose to function properly.  The best source of sugar is raw fruits and vegetables.

Sugar is the scourge of our children's health.  It has zero nutritional value, robs nutrients from the body, particularly teeth and bones and consumed with starch, a common mix, leads to fermentation in the digestive process that breaks down to alcohol and other toxins.  It causes mood swings (hyperactivity to depression), is harmful to the stomach lining and interferes with the digestion of nutrients from other food.
