Carnivore? Herbivore? Omnivore?

What are we?  What does the design of our digestive tract reveal about what we should eat?  Are we constructed in a way that specifies what we should and should not eat?  Can we determine from our bodily makeup substances that our bodies require to function or that cause our bodies to malfunction? Should we pay attention to how we are made? Should we wait until science catches up with common sense to change what we put in our mouths?  You decide.
